The newspaper said that the herbal medicine store chain is in the process of opening its second Mexican branch.

The herbal medicine market is expected to grow exponentially in the future.

LaJornada reported that a former employee of El primerero told Breitbart News that the chain was founded in 1924 by two brothers, Alejandro and Antonio Quiroz, in order to provide a quality of herbal medicines and to improve the quality of life for people in the town.

According the report, the herbal pharmacy has over 15 branches in the United States and Canada.

The Quirozes opened their first store in New York City in 1924, but it was closed in 1924.
