A New York beauty salon has taken the world by storm after offering a four-day course on herbal medicine.
A New York Times report says one of the students is a mom with a special affinity for the herb.
Her mother, who asked not to be identified, says she’s taken the course twice.
She’s also an active member of the herbal medicine community.
“My mom loves the healing powers of herbs and is a natural healer.
And I think it’s very important for me to be a part of this because I have a lot of anxiety and anxiety issues, she said.
So, when the school said, ‘We’re going to give you a four day herbal medicine class,’ I was thrilled, I was ecstatic,” she said, adding that she had heard from others who’ve been there and learned more about the practice.”
I’m so excited about the course.
I think I’m going to love it,” she added.
The students will be given a class on the herb to learn more about its benefits, including the therapeutic properties and the health benefits of certain herbs, the Times reports.
The course will be held at The New York State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, located at 7th Avenue and Seventh Avenue in Manhattan.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity to educate people about herbal medicine and what it can do for them,” Dr. Susan C. DeLuca, a dermatologist at NYU Langone Medical Center, said in a statement.
The program is free and open to the public.
It’s a four week course, according to the Times.
